Who we are and how we work

Product Review 24 Inc. is a consumer publishing company based in Dallas, Texas. We write about the products ordinary people actually spend money on — skincare, household goods, personal care and everyday wellness items — and we try to do it in plain language, without the marketing fog that usually surrounds them.

Most of what we publish takes one of two forms. The first is a straight write-up: what a product claims, what the manufacturer's own evidence shows, what it costs and who it is realistically for. The second is an advertorial — a sponsored, first-person narrative published on behalf of a brand. Advertorials are always labelled as advertising on the page itself.

What we do and do not claim

We are a publisher, not a laboratory and not a clinic. We do not run our own clinical trials. When we quote a statistic, a study or a professional's opinion, we say where it came from — and when a figure is supplied by the manufacturer rather than an independent body, we label it that way so you can weigh it accordingly.

We also do not sell the products we write about. Every order, payment, shipment, return and refund is handled by the retailer or manufacturer whose page you land on when you follow a link from our site.

How we make money

Editorial standards

• Attribution. Claims are traced back to a source, and manufacturer-supplied data is identified as such.
• No medical claims. Cosmetic and wellness products are described as cosmetic and wellness products. Nothing we publish diagnoses, treats or cures anything.
• Real terms. Prices, guarantees and shipping conditions are reported as the seller states them at the time of writing, with a note that they can change.
• Honest testimonials. Customer quotes are reproduced as first names and initials. We do not present them as typical results.
• Corrections. If we get something wrong, write to us and we will fix the page.
